What is Certified Equine Appraiser?

A Certified Equine Appraiser, through training and experience, is one who has been endorsed by the American Society of Equine Appraisers, the National governing body of equine appraisers.

An appraisal by a Certified Equine Appraiser is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Uniformed Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the standards established by the Appraisal Standards Board. These standards are those used throughout the appraisal industry.

In order to become a Certified Equine Appraiser, one must demonstrate his or her expertise in not only the development of appraisals, but also horses and the horse industry.
